Peace is the concept of harmonious well being and freedom from hostile aggression. In Islam we are taught that there should be joy whenever you increase in knowledge.

Your humbleness and mercy should increase. Whenever you increase in acts of worship, your fear of Allah and caution increases. Whenever you increase in age, your greed should decrease.

Whenever you increase in wealth, your generosity and spending should increases. Whenever you increase in status and position, your nearness to the people should increase and so should you fulfilling their needs and being humble with them.

When I saw clips of George Floyd. I was trigged. George Floyd was an unarmed black man who died after a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck. For someone with power to be so merciless to a unarmed man who kept saying “I can’t breath” is just heartless.

This is one of Allahs many signs, people normalizing killing each other. We watched and cried with our Muslim communities being choked and tortured everyday on media by soldiers and polices. It’s very sad. All human life matter and nobody should be treated unjustly. Allah said “If anyone kills a life, it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saves a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind”~ Quran 5:32

It’s lovely that within seconds the world reacted to the injustice act of the polices. I wish the world stands tall and loud together to get all the justice humanity deserve. Martin Luther King once said Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

The #BLM movement became a good inspiration that we should continue to support the oppressed, stand for what is right and staying neutral isn’t the right thing to do. When we all come together and do our small part each day in spreading love, peace, and unity; we can make the world a positive place for all of us to enjoy without any fear or sadness.
