Networking is the perfect way to hone your existing relationships as well as make new connections. It’s a great way of gaining the advice of experienced individuals and get fresh ideas.
I was privileged to attend yet again another one of SPNEA Dinner Gala. The Somali Professional Network brings together Somali Professionals, Students and Entrepreneurs. It’s a platform that also provides the opportunity for its members to connect, engage and share valuable experiences with like-minded individuals with the purpose of mentoring each other in finding jobs, sharing experiences & market intelligence.
At the Dinner Gala, we had a speaker who spoke with us and afterwards we had a speed networking. Speed networking, involves participants gathering together to exchange information and get to know each during a set of period of time. It was very interactive, and I met many Professionals in different fields. I left feeling inspired.
