Refreshing detox

I thank God for reaching this Ramadan healthy. Alhamdulillah!
I walked into this holy month with a baggage of habits that needed to be unlearned. This time, is a good pause for me to reflect. Almost as if there’s a sudden stop to a long storm.

Reflection during Ramadan feels way more rewarding. Allah increases rewards and bestows gifts in abundance. He opens the doors to goodness for whoever wishes for it. It is the month of benefits and blessings, the month of endowment and gifts.

Abū Hurayrah said that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said “Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and hope for reward, his past sins will be forgiven.”

My first days of fasting were easy and peaceful. Tasks I found hard to handle before started becoming easier, Alhamdulillah.

Allah (The Almighty) said:
“Oh you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you like it was prescribed for those before you so that you may become righteous”.

I want to enjoy every Salah, to have Ghushu’ in my prayers. And be more focused on every Surah I read in the Quran. The aim is for me to do it wholeheartedly.

When was the last time you’ve done something wholeheartedly?

P.s I pray for your good deeds to be accepted in this Holly month. And may Allah grant full recovery to those who are unwell.
