Life is a journey

Our household is full of boisterous souls. Its always loud and free. I feel the main cause is my mother. Her motto is instead of focusing on things you don’t want to happen in your life shift your focus on things that you want to happen in your life. I reunited with my mum and brother in my 2015 visit to USA. It was the first trip I ever took outside London. It was hard seeing my mother sadden by my grandfathers terminal illness. She kept saying “lets look at what could go right and leave the rest to god “.

Spending time in and out of hospital wasn’t fun however seeing my mother uplight herself and others taught me how to fight for myself. She’s the strongest woman I know. We all ate, laughed and cried together. The four of us grew closer I’m forever grateful that Allah gave me such a chance. At that time I was a sad 15 year old finding life difficult. The hardship of life hasn’t stop there for me however I am more in control of my life now.

Now that I’ve learnt about “The Law of Attraction” I couldn’t help but notice the similarity between it and my mothers theory to leading a life of contentment. The law of attraction means you attract to your life whatever you give your attention, energy and focus to, whether positive or negative.

Every single moment you have a mood or a feeling you give of some sort of energy causing you to emit or send out a negative or positive vibration. And that’s where the Law of Attraction comes in, it is responding to the vibration you are offering. When your words change, your vibration changes also. The use of words, and more importantly, the feelings generated by words have a large significance on the energy you give out.

I remember when I first landed in Nairobi, Kenya I was greeted by this handsome man with the warmest smile you could imagine. He lift me up and said you’ve grown so much “it was my older brother”. His energy and welcome was so warm till today it warms my heart. Walking into my sisters’ home was full of laughter from her and her son. It was comfortable and I felt at home right away. We’ve bonded and I learnt so many amazing traits about them. Like the way both of my brother and sister outlooked negativity, saw what they wanted and worked towards it. Seeing this always what motivates me to do better. My life in Kenya is really enjoyable because they are part of it.

In Islam personal growth is the goal. Feeling blessed attracts more blessings. In other words when you focus on the good the good gets better. There’s so much fun in creating the life you want and it’s hard as well. It’s our way of life as humans to create a place for ourselves. As I search in the wonders of Allah’s creation. I’m making my place here more beautiful. We merge from beautiful hopes that we create in our hearts.

No matter where I am I’m forever creating and learning. I pray that nothing in this life causes us fear and the only fear we have is Allah. Let’s look at and hear good things only.

I’m wishing you all a health and happy life.
