Cool Things I found on Halal Expo
The other day, I went to a Halal business expo held at Adams Arcade by Halal Nairobi where Muslims came together to sell their products in a Halal environment. What does Halal mean? Halal is Arabic for permissible it is the standard prescribed in the Qur’an and sunnah (the prophets doings)
What makes visiting a business expo important is it can provide you opportunities that the day-to-day business correspondence usually does not. Most companies that attend look for opportunities to expand their business network and build awareness of their own company. This allows more customers to recognize their brand.
Most entrepreneurs owned small businesses that came together to support each other. I encourage supporting of small businesses. One main reason is because they do everything with passion, from the products and services they sell to the how they treasure the relationships they have with all of their customers. Many small business owners play an important role in supporting their local communities.
At the exhibition, I met many entrepreneurs selling products that have great value made with passion. I didn’t plan to spend money that day as I intended only to tagged along with my sister who was selling her products at a halal vendor. I found it interesting and went to ask how the vendor would be held in a halal way. What I saw amazed me which made me spend a lot of my money on the Muslim painters, crafters, bakers and designers.
The expo enable us to get to see products and services that we wouldn’t see any other day. There was a man who was selling medicine used by the prophet Muhammad (PBUH), artistic sisters who did Islamic calligraphy, handmade soaps and many more others.
When the day is good we forget to post about it, this happens to be the reason why I don’t have many cool pictures of the event. I was simply enjoying the moment. My point is, always treasure the moments.

Most entrepreneurs owned small business that came together to support each other. I love supporting small business. One main reason is because they love what they do, and they play an important role in supporting their local communities. Also because owners treasure the relationships they have with all of their customers and I loved that.
The children section were filled with screams, laughter and chatter. All played and interacted with each other. There was archery, painting and clowns who were entertaining them.
After the clock struck lunch time. My nose detected all the food section And ate cake, pizza and some other goodies. There was a mosque for us to pray at and freshen up. The mosque was large and beautiful it had both men and women side.
To my readers love what you do and do what you love 💕
